For nearly 100 years, the Armenian genocide has been a source of deep division and stress between Armenians and Turks. Now, working together for the first time, Turkish, Armenian, and other scholars present in a new book a reconstruction of what happened and why. The book -- A Question of Genocide: Armenians and Turks at the End of the Ottoman Empire -- was co-edited by historian Norman M. Naimark, along with Ronald Grigor Suny and Fatma Muge Gocek. Naimark, a CISAC affiliated faculty member, is also the author of Stalin's Genocides, published by Princeton University Press in August, 2010.
